Concept
Art is more than just works in museums or in a collector’s house. Art can be found in public spaces and by no means only as a memorial on a pedestal. Art is social, political, global, transnational and always seismographic for social sensitivities. Artists are freethinkers, shamans of our time. Their art, let it be utopian, questioning or inconvenient, is thought-provoking – "gives another point of view". Or: Art makes you see!
Furthermore, the boundaries between art, design and architecture have become more porous. Nowadays many artists work interdisciplinary.
Networks and collaborations originated by this means, and the associated exchange are gathered and promoted by E.A.T. At the same time, together with E.A.T. a place, a moment should be created in this global and fast moving art scene in which concentration and openness for new things is possible.
In this unique historico-cultural region, this unique energetic high valley the Engadin Art Talks are creating a temporary place for a dialogue of arts. The aim is to uphold and revive the history.
